Constitution
Introduction
1 The name of the association shall be the Independent Airport Park and Ride Association (IAPRA).
2 IAPRA was established on 8th October 2002.
3 IAPRA has the following mission statement:
The objectives of IAPRA are to promote best practice in the industry and ensure that the industry’s voice is heard clearly on issues of major importance to members. The Association will be campaigning to ensure that the role of independent airport park and ride operators is fully recognised in the development plans for UK airports and their surface access strategies.
In addition, the Association will seek to protect the interests of consumers so that, as a matter of principle, they are not charged for the right of access to airports, by whatever means they arrive. This includes making sure that, where facilities are provided by airport authorities for them to be dropped off and picked up by car park, hotel, bus and taxi operators, charges for these facilities are fair and reasonable.
Objectives
4 IAPRA has the following objectives –- To promote the independent airport park and ride industry.
- To promote security measures and high standards of customer service amongst its members.
- To be a central representative body to put the views of IAPRA to government, Parliament, the European Commission and Parliament and other relevant organisations.
- To provide a forum for the exchange of non-competitive information.

9 The subscription scale shall be set by the Executive Committee.
